Refinishing a Chalk Board

When I was little there was nothing more fun then being able to play with my chalk inside my room :O). I'm not sure where my mother found it but I always remembered having this little chalk board that my sister and I would play with. While I still have the board it has seen a whole lot of wear over the last 25 years. Well recently I was in the store and saw a new spray paint to create a chalk board surface I wanted to try out. I wasn't as simple as I had hoped, and far more messy but I'm hoping my daughter gets as many years out of it as I did.
I didn't have to sand mine first because the surface was already worn if yours is a newer surface though sand first and make sure to clean off the dust

Make sure to tape any sections you don't want covered

It isn't perfect but it will work :O)
Most importantly read all the directions first because there is A LOT of them.lol You MUST wait 24 hours before using it. The dark blob in the middle is just my shadow. hehe
