Becoming a Beachbody Coach

I have to admit my whole life it was never really the weight I struggled with. Of course after children I gained more the I wanted to, but by all standards I was not obese and if you ask the doctor, while I have a little extra love around the middle. I have never been "fat" What I have always struggled with is my health and fitness. A couple months ago a friend sent me a program by Beachbody called 21 Day Fix and I fell in love. From learning the proper way to eat, and the things that my body loves and doesn't love, to fitness that not only didn't take me all damn day, but was fun and encouraging! After a couple months on the program and a lot of thought and talking with friends I decided that helping others feel the way I feel was what I wanted to do!

Now don't get me wrong I still have some distance left in my journey, but I feel better then I have ever felt. I am sleeping 8 hours straight instead of 4. I have the energy to wake up early and work late, and of course with 3 kids that is one of the most important things. Old back injuries are starting to not hamper my ability to do every day tasks any more. Now I would be lying if I said this part of my journey has been easy. I have stumbled and fallen, but after picking myself back up I see progress and hope. I am starting to love who I AM for probably the first time ever in my life. Beachbody has given me not only the physical strength to do what I thought I never could, but the emotional strength to do what I thought I never could.

I will be posting a whole lot more on the topic in the coming days, weeks, months and years! I can't wait to see where this journey takes me and I hope that some of you will come along with me. Please feel free to learn more about Beachbody on my page and on my facebook page.

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need:
2 Cups of Sugar
2 Cups of Water
1 Package Sugar Free Jello
A candy Thermometer

Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I like to dust mine …

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Review and Giveaway

Recently I was given an amazing opportunity to review a new product by Rubbermaid called the Hidden Recycler. As a family who does a lot to help our planet in many ways this was an exciting opportunity. I loved the fact the Rubbermaid not only made a product that would help my family continue their recycling more easily but they reduced packaging to merely a cardboard sleeve that I could in turn recycle. I quickly opened the package like a kid at Christmas and discovered it would not fit my kitchen cabinets :O( we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and the layout of my old cabinets would not hold the brackets.  So as I sat down to gloat about not being able to use this amazing product, and I notice two holes on the lid and made a massive dash for the directions. Sure enough I can attach it with screws! (Which ironically took me forever to find in our construction materials) I found the perfect place for it in my laundry room and began putting all of Rubbermaid's claims to the …
