A High Scoring Dip For Your Super Bowl Party!

       I'm sure by now you might be getting tired of hearing me talk about the Super Bowl, but man am I excited to watch my favorite team play for the first time in a long time! Of course with every great party you need a great selection of foods. I am looking forward to trying a new recipe from French's. Now we are a high spice eating family so it was no surprise to me when I found out over the last year Jalapeno flavored appetizer grew 22% so if you like a little spice in your life make sure to give this French's New Jalapeno Popper Dip a try!


JALAPENO POPPER DIP
      This dip has all of the great flavors of jalapeno poppers without the work.  The hardest thing about this dip is not eating it all yourself!

Prep Time: 10 minutes       Cook Time: 0 Minutes

1 pkg. - (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 cup - mayonnaise
1 cup - shredded Mexican blend or cheddar cheese 
¼ cup - French’s® Classic Yellow® Mustard or French’s® Spicy Brown Mustard
4 - jalapenos peppers, seeded and diced or 1 can (4 oz.) diced jalapenos, drained
2 tbsp. - Panko bread crumbs, toasted (optional)

1.    Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs in a medium bowl.
2.    Sprinkle bread crumbs over dip just before serving.
3.    Serve with tortilla chips.

Makes 3 cups

Tips: For a hot dip, turn into 1-quart ovenproof dish; top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until hot.

FRANK’S® REDHOT® BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP
This robust creamy dip tastes like Buffalo Chicken Wings but without the mess! Serve hot with celery sticks, veggies or your favorite chips.

Prep Time: 5 min.  Cook Time:  20 min.
1 (8 oz.) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
½ cup Blue cheese or ranch salad dressing
½ cup any flavor FRANK’S® REDHOT® Sauce
½ cup Crumbled blue cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cans (12.5 oz. each) SWANSON® White Premium Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained.
1. HEAT oven to 350ºF. Place cream cheese into deep baking dish. Stir  until smooth.
2. MIX in salad dressing, Frank’s RedHot sauce and cheese. Stir in chicken.
3. BAKE 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers or cut up vegetables.
Makes 4 cups dip
Microwave Directions:  Prepare as above. Place in microwave-safe dish. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 5 min. until hot, stirring halfway through cooking.
Tips:  You may substitute 2 cups shredded cooked chicken.
Slow Cooker Method: Combine ingredients as directed above. Place mixture into small slow cooker.                           Heat on HIGH setting for 1 ½ hours until hot and bubbly or on LOW setting for 2 ½ to 3 hours. Stir.
Tailgating Tip: Prepare dip ahead and place in heavy disposable foil pan. Place pan on grill and heat dip until hot and bubbly.

FRANK’S® REDHOT® ORIGINAL BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS

Prep Time: 10 min.     Cook Time:  20 min.



2 ½ lbs. chicken wing pieces

¾ cup any flavor FRANK’S® REDHOT® Wing Sauce

  
1.BAKE wings in foil-lined pan at 500°F on lowest oven rack for 20 minutes until crispy, turning once.
2.TOSS wings in sauce to coat.


Makes 6 to 8 servings



Tip:  You may substitute ½ cup FRANK’S® REDHOT® Sauce mixed with 1/3 cup melted butter for the Wings Sauce. Alternate Cooking Directions: Deep-fry at 375°F for 10 minutes.

Broil 6-inches from heat 15 to 20 minutes, turning once.

Grill over medium heat 20 to 25 minutes, turning often.


CAJUN BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS

Prep Time: 5 mins; Cook Time: 20 mins
2 ½  lbs. chicken wing pieces   
½  cup any flavor FRANK’S® REDHOT® Buffalo Wings Sauce 
1/3 cup ketchup
2tsp. Cajun seasoned spice blend
1. BAKE wings in foil-lined pan at 500 °F on lowest oven rack for 20 to 25 min. until crispy, turning once.   
2. MIX Buffalo Wings Sauce, ketchup and spice blend.
3. TOSS wings in sauce to coat.
Makes 6 to 8 servings 
Tip: You may substitute 1/2 cup FRANK’S® REDHOT® Sauce mixed with 1/3 cup melted butter for the Wings  Sauce.   
Alternate Cooking Directions: Deep-fry at 375°F for 10 min.  
Broil 6-inches from heat 15 to 20 min., turning once.
Grill over medium heat 20 to 25 min., turning often.    

HONEY BBQ SESAME WINGS

These sweet honey sesame wings will delight your guests at any party.

Prep Time: 10 mins; Cook Time: 10 mins
¼  cup honey barbecue sauce
¼  cup FRANK’S® REDHOT® Cayenne Pepper Sauce 
¼  cup apricot jam 
1 Tbsp. Asian sesame oil 
2 ½  lbs. chicken wings, split and tips discarded 
2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds 
1. Combine barbecue sauce, Frank’s RedHot Sauce, jam and sesame oil; set aside. 
2. Deep fry* wings at 375°F (HIGH) for 10 min. or until cooked and crispy; drain. 
3. Toss hot wings in jam mixture. Place on serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. 
Makes 8 servings 
*Alternate Cooking Directions: Bake 20 min. at 500°F until fully cooked and crispy, turning halfway; Broil 6-inches from heat 15 to 20 min., turning once; Grill over medium heat about 20 min., turning often.  




SWEET CHILI ASIAN CHICKEN WINGS

Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins
3 lbs chicken wing pieces   
¾  cup FRANK’S® RedHot Sweet Chili® Sauce
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. grated peeled ginger
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. minced green onion or cilantro
1. BAKE wings in foil-lined pan at 500°F on lowest oven rack for 20 to 25 min. until crispy, turning once.   
2. MIX Sweet Chili Sauce, soy sauce, ginger and garlic in large bowl.
3. TOSS wings in sauce to coat. Sprinkle with green onion or cilantro.
Makes 6 to 8 servings 
Alternate Cooking Directions: Deep-fry at 375°F for 10 min.  
Broil 6-inches from heat 15 to 20 min., turning once. 
Grill over medium heat 20 to 25 min., turning often.

Ok not that I have said that let's move on to today's challenge :) While my arms, already being sore, did not like this one it was not so much a difficult task. 30 Day Beach Body Challenge- Day 11 #30dayfitness

At this point I am unsure if I like the pain I feel in my abdominal muscles for the first time in my life, or if I want to cry because it hurts so bad.lol Here I am though today ready for this challenge like it or not! Today's challenge is to do 25 Push Ups and 75 Tricep Dips. The sound of it doesn't scare me, even though I am well aware I can't do a full regular push up and will be doing these modified. Yesterday was so nice not to feel like I was going to have to give up mid workout! However I was assured today that it would take me quite a while in order to get this workout done. No matter how sore I get it doesn't seem to matter I can't push further by any measurable amount. Today's challenge was to do 50 Squat Jumps and 200 Crunches. Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try. 
It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)

30 Day Beach Body Challenge- Day 9 #30dayfitness

Oh I am so sore I didn't even want to work out today! But I did my best and got through it eventually ;) Today's challenge is 25 Squats and 100 Skater Slides. :) Don't worry this is probably the easiest day I have had so far, although the Skater Slides were a little tricky to get the hang of. I have to say I am not sure if I am dying or getting in shape lol is anyone else with me?? I really feel that at this point the pain should start getting better and the exercises easier to do ;) I can't say that I am noticing much of a difference in the way I look yet but only time will tell. Make Your Super Bowl Party With Oriental Trading

       I'm sure I have mentioned before that we are big time football fans in this house. As a Broncos fan from birth this Super Bowl is going to be even more exciting! Recently I was given the chance to review some great Super Bowl party items from Oriental Trading that will make our Super Bowl even more exciting. We decided to give our party kit a little good luck run this weekend :). It's only weird if it doesn't work right lol.
       You can see most of the items in this picture. I want to talk a little about the football stadium drink cooler. Now I will admit when I picked this item I majorly under estimated the size of it.lol When I took it out of the package I realized how BIG it is. Measuring 2 foot by 4.5 feet it holds 40 pounds of ice and could hold 50+ drinks with ease. This will be the PERFECT Super Bowl party cooler because it can hold so many drinks, that even with friends over for the big game you won't have to constantly refill it. The Inflatable Football Buffet Cooler is only $10 and I think is very well made, you can order it HERE.
       Oriental Trading also provided us with some of their Super Bowl Plates for this years game. These are the dinner plates which are a sturdy paper plate that measures 10.5". You can get 16 plates for only $3.49 and you can order them HERE. You can see also in the picture some cute little foam fingers that say WE'RE #1. These are a great party idea for children and they fit great on their fingers :) they do also fit on adult fingers if you have a fun friend that needs a little extra cheering help. They come in many different colors, but we went with the assorted pack of 12 which run only $4.00 for a dozen. You can buy them HERE.
       We received so many fun items in our party kit. Here is two more that we really loved. Every party needs cups, and let's face it, if they are disposable it can make a large party so much more peaceful. These football cups are made of a sturdy plastic, I really liked them because when you picked them up full it didn't feel like you would squish them and have liquid all over. They hold 16 ounces, so you don't have to constantly refill them and miss part of the game. The price is what I really like the best, for 50 cups you only pay $8.00! You can purchase these cups HERE. I'm sure you are looking at the adorable little Referee Bottle Covers, these were so much fun for everyone. I know in this picture I show them on a bottle of beer. However these cute little covers will fit over any bottle, including soda and water bottles of a standard size, so they can really be fun for the whole family.        I also received this fun game which is called Football Toss Game. Excuse the stock photo my camera did not want to give up the picture for this one. When I opened this I was surprised at the quality. It is made from a nice heavy press board, which is almost a wood quality. It has wooden parts on it as well, which made it super sturdy to play with. My kids really really enjoyed playing with this, and since football can be a bit slow for children sometimes, it was the perfect thing to keep them entertained!
