Valentine's Day Gift Idea for Dad

Valentine's Day can be such a hard thing to buy gifts for especially if you are a new family. With the day to day struggles of just remembering to showing and feed yourself sometimes all you want to do is settle in with a nice soft pair of PJs and take a few quite moments with your special someone. Recently I was given the opportunity to review an adorable pair of Pajama pants that would make a great Valentine's Day Gift for Dads from Daddy & Company.
These pants we very well made and I had to laugh because in this picture it looks like your typical posing lady, well it is not ;) they are expectant mothers lol. The fit is a bit on the short side so unfortunately my husband was unable to wear them. When you go to purchase make sure you order a bit larger if your special someone has long legs. Make sure you order now to receive it in time for Valentine's Day and remember these make a great gift any time of year. They are also available in boxers, check out some of the other fun varieties of Daddy Loungewear on their website.

*The Above mentioned product was received free of charge in order to help facilitate this review. Regardless all views expressed are those of my own and were in no way influenced*

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol
