Easy Canvas Prints Review + Giveaway

As a family we are very lucky to be able to see so many beautiful sites, and I always have my camera going. You have probably seen many of my pictures as I share them here on the blog. While it is such a pleasure to share the beauty I experience with you some days looking at the computer screen just doesn't bring back the memories they way I would like it to. Recently I was given an opportunity to work with a company called Easy Canvas Prints. Just as their name states they help you to make your pictures into a canvas print with ease. When I found out I was going to be able to pick a picture and make it into a canvas that I could hang on my wall and enjoy I knew just which picture I wanted to use!
I'm sure you can see why I would
want to look at this every evening
Placing my order online was super easy. Everything was labelled and the step by step directions had different options and pricing where applicable. That was really nice to have, then when it was time to check out there was no surprise about the price of the item. The canvas I received was a 16" by 20" print with a 0.75" wrap. I went ahead with the image wrap so I could hang it plain on my wall, I'm not much for picture frames :) they are to hard to match when you need new ones.lol
The hanger was pre-mounted helping take
the guess work out of hanging my new
canvas, you can see it is well secured with

the image creeping all the way around the edge.
After ordering it took only 4 days to arrive and was well wrapped and then taped securely into a well fitting box. I love that there was no shipping damage at all and was perfect just like when it was placed inside the box. The attention to detail throughout the process of this review has been amazing and the company was very pleasurable to work with. Here is my beautiful canvas hanging on our living room wall.
They say a picture is worth 1000 words, but
I don't think this canvas needs words, the
beauty says it all.
The people at easycanvasprints.com want to help turn your memories into a masterpiece. They are offering for me to give away to one of my readers an 8" by 10" canvas print. Please make sure to enter on the Rafflecopter below. GOOD LUCK!

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need:
2 Cups of Sugar
2 Cups of Water
1 Package Sugar Free Jello
A candy Thermometer

Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I like to dust mine …

The Children's Place Review and Giveaway

Recently I was lucky enough to be given a chance to review The Children's Place. With summer time in full force here in West Texas getting some new summer time clothing was not only a needed thing but a fun thing to do. We decided to try out The Children's Place online ordering. I had never done this before and with a packed schedule it was very handy! My daughter loved sitting don and being able to pick out an entire outfit for under $25. In fact she was not only able to get an out fit but to additional pairs of shorts! Not only was ordering fast and easy but we received our clothing in 2 days. Considering we hit a record high 103 degrees yesterday it came none to soon! Here is the adorable outfit that she picked out :O) she had to model it of course! Butterfly Shirt $6; Matching Shorts $6;Flip Flops to go with her out fit $3.50. The excitement of picking her outfit herself Priceless.
She really had so much fun with this and she loves her new flips flops(because the 5 pairs she…

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Review and Giveaway

Recently I was given an amazing opportunity to review a new product by Rubbermaid called the Hidden Recycler. As a family who does a lot to help our planet in many ways this was an exciting opportunity. I loved the fact the Rubbermaid not only made a product that would help my family continue their recycling more easily but they reduced packaging to merely a cardboard sleeve that I could in turn recycle. I quickly opened the package like a kid at Christmas and discovered it would not fit my kitchen cabinets :O( we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and the layout of my old cabinets would not hold the brackets.  So as I sat down to gloat about not being able to use this amazing product, and I notice two holes on the lid and made a massive dash for the directions. Sure enough I can attach it with screws! (Which ironically took me forever to find in our construction materials) I found the perfect place for it in my laundry room and began putting all of Rubbermaid's claims to the …
