Wraptastic

As a blogger I always love reviewing some of the newest and most creative products. Wraptastic is a brand new kitchen tool that is a perfect way to organize your home. It can hold both Plastic wrap, wax paper and foil which lets face it can be so frustrating. Unfortunately we need them in order to not only store our food, but to transport it from place to place, especially during these summer months when we are having parties with our friends and family. Wraptastic helps to eliminate some of your kitchen battles by providing a safe and easy to use container for all of your wrapping materials. It contains a stainless steel blade which is recessed to protect fingers, while the rubber feet of the dispenser hold it in place while in use.
I loved the idea of this product and the design is good. I have had it just about a month and it has held up well. The only problem I have had with it, the product you put inside must be name brand, dollar store products do not seem to fit properly inside :( luckily I had a roll of foil on hand that was a name brand in order to test this product. I really have loved how much cleaner my drawer looks with it in it, and when I run out of plastic wrap I will purchase a name brand in order to use it for plastic. I have a major love hate battle with plastic wrap after all!
Wraptastic ($10.99) can be purchased at https://www.buywraptastic.com/

I hate plastic wrap and never buy it just because it is to clingy and it attacks me every time I use it. Bad bad plastic wrap!!!! I definitely would find this useful!

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol
