Tangy Mango Salsa

  As the summer months begin I have been challenged with finding new foods that taste good and help cool off my family. While flipping through an old family cookbook a couple great new ideas came into my mind. First thing I thought I would try was this Tangy Mango Salsa.


  • 1 Mango (diced)
  • 1 Small Tomato (seeds removed and diced)
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Red Onion
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • 1/8 Cup Chopped Cilantro


  • Mix ingredients together and let sit for 2-3 hours till flavors combine and are well chilled.

     This salsa is great with any chip or as a topping to tacos, fish and more. To add a little heat add some chopped jalapenos to the mix.

I may have to try it. I am not a fan of mango but maybe the mango I had was bad.

Yum! I have been wanting another salsa recipe! Thanks! I cannot wait to give it a try! May have to leave out the jalapenos, though! LOL!

I love mango salsa and yet never make it, thanks for the boot you know where, I will be using your recipe!
