Gotta Love #momwisdom ~Mother Knows Best #sponsored

Me, My mommy, and My Sister(she is the angry one.lol)
Growing up my mother has always been my best friend. It isn't a secret, heck even my sister calls me a mamas girl. As I sit here every day and watch my daughter grow all I can think is how much my mother means to me and all the wisdom she has passed on to me. Growing up I did a lot of things both good and bad, but regardless my mother was always there to support me. From showing dogs to judging land in FFA she was always there. Which as a  single hard working mother I know could not have been easy, which of course as a child I took for granted and never realized. My family is a little unconventional in our words of wisdom. Lets face it the Bill Cosby ideal that cake contains milk, eggs, and flour that it is good for breakfast always made me giggle a bit, but I guess it is no worse then french toast is it?? So as you can see it is the most of my life lessons and #momwisdom came from words that were left unspoken. A hug when I didn't win, a fresh plate of french fries when we had a hard day in the show ring, or an all night burger time video game fest to catch up on the week.
As I get older and try to remember what I use to do to be so fit and healthy I look back and the greatest thing was water. I know I use to enjoy the occasional soda, but it wasn't a constant in our house. We were lucky to grow up in a community with amazing water, straight from the tap was about as good as it got. My mom and I often talk about drinking water, especially this time of year when here in West Texas temperatures often reach over 100 degrees. Like any great mother she asks me probably at least once a day if I am drinking enough water, if the kids are and if my husband is.........well of course mom we couldn't forget it. She always reminds me how important it is to stay hydrated and how water helps your body in every way. Unfortunately the water here just isn't great, or even really good for you were my family is now, so we turn a lot to bottled water. My favorite brand to buy is Nestlé® Pure Life® water, not only because of the great taste but because of all the great things that Nestle does to help people around the world.
The number one bottled water brand by volume according to Beverage Marketing Corporation, Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water offers a number of healthy hydration options and is committed to helping families live healthy, active lifestyles.  With No artificial flavors or colors, No calories, No sugar, it is just pure hydration. Nestlé® Pure Life’s® Facebook page is powered by almost 400,000 fans! Last year, over 100,000 fans joined the Nestlé® Pure Life® Hydration Movement by pledging to swap one sugary beverage a day with water for a year to cut 50,000 calories from their diet, and then share their family’s story of healthy hydration on the Facebook page mosaic. Become a fan of Nestlé® Pure Life® on Facebook and stay tuned for the launch of this year’s Hydration Movement in late July! Nestlé® Pure Life® will continue to focus on healthy hydration, while also embracing Mom’s Wisdom – sharing and discovering all of the little things that moms have shared over the generations that make our lives better. And one thing all moms can agree on is that it’s important to keep the family healthy, hydrated and happy. This year, Nestlé® Pure Life® is asking fans to take a simple online pledge to drink more water.  They can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes and share their own wisdom through the Facebook mosaic.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for great tips in staying hydrated. Remember trading just one soda for a bottle of water can help you lose several additional pounds a year. Stay Healthy, Stay Hydrated.

I love hearing tips for staying hydrated! We got the kids all a reusable water bottle and fill it with ice water. They no longer ever ask for juice and drink throughout the day. It's great :)

Love Nestle, we take bottled water everywhere to keep from buying unhealthy drinks while on the go. Nestle is affordable so that works great with how active we are.

This is the only water my hubby will drink so we all do in my house. Hubby and I add our sugar free flavors in the water too.

It's sad that we have to drink water from a bottle. I agree, water is so much better than soda!

I like to take my bottled water with ice in a glass and add a nice lemon or lime in it.

We always drink bottled water in the summer because we have Lake Michigan as our water source sometime in the summer they add chemicals to kill some kind of slime and stuff but the water gets a egg like smell and it's nasty.it even smells like that showering
