Something Like Life

I always wondered how kids could get so dirty, then I started working at the school. From crawling and rolling, to napping and eating nothing is cleaning when you are a child! lol With all the dirt washing often is a must and making it fun can be very important. Being a mom who has kids with sensitive skin it is a must to have  a product that is made just for them. I've struggled and struggled as I get older to lose just that last 10 pounds. I have never had the perfect diet so over time my metabolism had just become non existent. I was really excited when I was selected by Mom Select to do a mommy party on the new book The Fast Metabolism Diet. If you are a long time reader then you know a couple months ago we had started working out together at work. So of course as soon as I found I KNEW that was the perfect place to hold my party!

As a mom I know that I love to get things that are handmade from my children. I was recently accepted into the Oriental Trading Blogger Program and received a great box of crafts I can't wait to share my kids crafts with you! Monday is typically when I update on gardening. I spent all afternoon thinking of the perfect post to write. As I sit here with my children trying to explain the tragedy that has happened and why humanity can't just love I decided that today's update will be postponed. Our hearts are sinking for the people affected by today's events and we pray that all can find peace and love from the ashes of this day. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. If you are a regular reader you know that I have been in a constant struggle to get healthy and lose these last 10 pounds.  a little while back I was given the chance to review a product I had not heard of before. SafSlim by Re-Body is a supplement that is naturally derived to help with that stubborn belly fat. I received a three day supply so I am not sure how it would have worked for me, what I can tell you is how I felt about the product and how it made me feel.

Let's face it no one likes to scrub the toilet, especially if you have  a little boy around. I have blessed to have 3 males in my house, so my job is just so much more fun! Recently as part of the Purex Insiders program I was given the chance to review a product called Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care. Before I received the product I thought it had to be a spray or a gel. Much to my surprise it was something far easier, that required very little effort to use. All I had to do was throw the hook over the edge of the bowl and make sure that when I flushed the water was flowing over it.

I have a horrible horrible sweet tooth! With time being so cramped lately I have found some fast, easy and fattening ways to cure my sweet tooth!

INGREDIENTS


1/2 package of Oreos1 Box of Instant Chocolate Pudding2 Cups of Cold Milk 1 Container of Cool Whip2 Tablespoons of Butter(melted)
DIRECTIONS


Place Oreos into your food processor and crush them all upMix in melted butter and place in bottom of 8inch square pan, press downMix 1 box pudding with 2 cups of milk and pour over top of Oreos "crust"Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate for 30 minutes(you can eat it faster if you can't wait ;) )

Today is World Autism Awareness Day, if you have never had the blessing to actually get to know someone with autism DO IT! I had never met someone till I started working this year. Since then I have got to spend my daily life with at least a dozen and they are AMAZING! I think they  have truly made me a better person.

Last week was crushing with the loss of most of my plants to the weather. Slowly this week has just brought a smile to my face! While I know here in West Texas I will struggle all year with this garden I have found just a little hope.
