Getting Clean with SoftScrub

The one thing about life that is unavoidable is cleaning. No one really enjoys cleaning....and if you do come on over.lol When I clean I love to be able to save time and energy where I can. Recently I was given the chance to review a product that I was already fairly familiar with. Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath & Kitchen Cleaner is a great way to Clean and deodorize so many surfaces.
Personally I prefer to use it on my kitchen sinks! I spend a lot of time doing dishes and washing dirty dogs in my sink. That leaves not only dried food products but a funky smell looming from my kitchen. I love that Soft Scrub is gentle on my porcelain sink and doesn't produce a strong odor like some cleaners. Right now Soft Scrub has a great sweepstake going on to! More then $1,500 in prizes so don't miss your chance and enter HERE NOW! Starting next week we will be hosting a great spring cleaning giveaway with a chance to win a ton of Product coupons for many great products from my Purex Insiders program. Make sure to head to Facebook and see what fun is going on over there.

* I received the above mentioned product as part of the Purex Insiders Program. Regardless all opinions are those of  my own and were in no way influenced. Thank you Purex and Soft Scrub.

I use to use Soft Scrub a lot, then not sure why I switched. I actually need to use it again, we have a ceramic sink and it needs a gentle scrubber, thanks for reminding me how good Soft Scrubs was!

I have tons of Soft Scrub on hand, I have not seen this yet so will be on the lookout for it. Soft Scrub has always worked so well, I even use it on my glass top stove.

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need:
2 Cups of Sugar
2 Cups of Water
1 Package Sugar Free Jello
A candy Thermometer

Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I like to dust mine …

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Review and Giveaway

Recently I was given an amazing opportunity to review a new product by Rubbermaid called the Hidden Recycler. As a family who does a lot to help our planet in many ways this was an exciting opportunity. I loved the fact the Rubbermaid not only made a product that would help my family continue their recycling more easily but they reduced packaging to merely a cardboard sleeve that I could in turn recycle. I quickly opened the package like a kid at Christmas and discovered it would not fit my kitchen cabinets :O( we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and the layout of my old cabinets would not hold the brackets.  So as I sat down to gloat about not being able to use this amazing product, and I notice two holes on the lid and made a massive dash for the directions. Sure enough I can attach it with screws! (Which ironically took me forever to find in our construction materials) I found the perfect place for it in my laundry room and began putting all of Rubbermaid's claims to the …
