Workouts On Demand Review and Giveaway!

Nothing is more important then getting healthy! Doing the same workout day in and day out though can be such a bore. Research has shown that if your workouts are boring you are less likely to stick with them. Recently I was giving what perhaps was one of the most needed reviews that perhaps I have ever encountered. I had really been in a slump and infact was even starting to gain weight again despite my "best" efforts when I was approached by a company called Workouts On Demand.
Workouts On Demand is a great online workout program that offers over 180 gym style workout videos available at your figure tips. I love that a new work out is add every week so even when I am switching up my workout daily there is still something new ready for me.  I'm not sure I have discussed this yet but recently my husband and I have begun to learn Yoga. It had been amazing to have a workout partner , but my knowledge is very limited and I needed somewhere to turn. I love that I have the option to download the video to my computer or just play it right from their site. For those days that I haven't felt like doing Yoga I have been able to select Dance and the ever important Killer Abs for mothers like myself. At just $10-$13 a month this is a great value and far cheaper then a prime gym membership that could give you all the same classes. If you sign up now you can get you first month for as low as $3! I have an even better offer for you though. Workouts On Demand has offered a free 6 month Membership to one of my lucky readers! Make sure you enter on the Rafflecopter below.

I love slower workouts, like Yoga.
I love Workouts On Demand, it streams on my phone, nothing better than getting up and heading down to the beach when nobody is there for a little yoga!

30 Day Beach Body Challenge- Day 3 #30dayfitness

Here we are at day 3, now unfortunately I am to sick to work out today but I wanted to make sure that I shared the information with you on how to do these exercises so that everyone could easily get their's done. I will catch up as I can, may even try to add extra to the days once I feel better. For today it is 50 burpees and 50 kick down crunches. If you don't know how to do these make sure to scroll down for directions! You will also see why with the flu these aren't doable.lol HOW TO DO A BURPEE!

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)
