EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale

With the new year already nearly a month over if you are like me you are starting to see results from that New Years resolution to get healthier. Sometimes it isn't enough to just see the progress in the mirror, sometimes you need to see it on a scale also. Recently I was given the chance to review the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale.
When I first received it my first thought was I hope the kids don't break it! Luckily it has been very durable for not only myself to use but for my entire family to be able to use. There are many features that I love about the EatSmart Precision Digital Scale that I have not found in looking at and using other scales. First and foremost I love that it has this great technology where i no longer have to press my scale and wait for it to tell me IT is ready. This scale is always ready to tell me if I am doing a good job meeting my fitness goals. I love that is has such a large surface area as well. I have always questioned how accurate a scale can be when my entire foot cannot fit on the surface! Lastly I love that it holds up to 400 pounds. This allows a wide range of people to use it, I know that sounds weird but just today I have done something other then keep this scale just at my house. I have started to share my fitness tools with my co-workers. I am blessed to work in a place where fitness is encouraged and this week we have begun to challenge ourselves to get healthy together! We have videos we do together during our lunch time and 3 days a week we have a group program we do. Ladies of all sizes are using this scale with great luck and results, we even have a couple kiddos that love to get in on the action.
And big feet to!(don't mind my toes.lol)

Good for little feet
I would highly recommend this product. With a price of $28.95 right now it is an amazing value. It is easy and fast to set up only requiring 4 AAA batteries which last a long period of time since it does not sit idol as long as traditional scales. I know my blog is not only limited to the United States of America so I'd like to say if you do not use the traditional pounds weight measurement it can be set to measure your weight in Kilos and Stones which really makes this a great universal scale. Make sure to check out EatSmart on Facebook, Twitter and their Website to learn more about this product and all their other amazing products.

**I received the above mention products in order to review it. Regardless all view s expressed are those of my own and were in no way influenced.**

Sounds like a great scale! I like how thin it looks so you can put it somewhere out of the way :)

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol
