Think About It Thursday

This week I was thinking.lol I always have things to be thankful for but my husband was listening to a radio show and there was something to think about haha. According to the Mayan calender the world is going to end on December 21st of this year. Well if you are as old as me you have already survived several different people saying it is going to end. So anyways with all of these storms coming through lately and the tragedy it brings with it. Now imagine if we had no weathermen, tall buildings, grocery stores.......what if all these events happened?? In the day of the Mayans it would have certainly meant that the world's end was quickly coming.

Second thought of the week.lol Yeah I know you may think I am crazy by now but go with it! What if you were on a plane and you crashed somewhere that was basically taking you back in time. There is no power, no running water. How long do you think it would take to get to where we are today in society??

Every week according to someone the world is going to end. Interesting question and not really sure on the answer. I would imagine a very long time!

#Cozycatfurniture Growing up Kitty with Ginger

It has been so many years since we have had a kitten around the house I think I had forgotten just how active and amazing they are! I am sure many of you have seen me talk about Ginger our baby. The Children's Place Review and Giveaway

Recently I was lucky enough to be given a chance to review The Children's Place . With summer time in full force here in West Texas getting some new summer time clothing was not only a needed thing but a fun thing to do. We decided to try out The Children's Place online ordering. I had never done this before and with a packed schedule it was very handy! My daughter loved sitting don and being able to pick out an entire outfit for under $25. In fact she was not only able to get an out fit but to additional pairs of shorts! Not only was ordering fast and easy but we received our clothing in 2 days. Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need: 2 Cups of Sugar 2 Cups of Water 1 Package Sugar Free Jello A candy Thermometer Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I li
