The Tale of the Tooth Fairy

I don't think there is anyone who cannot remember the joy of losing that tooth and the magic of the tooth Fairy. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy Set is my new must have for anyone with small children. My two youngest really just LOVE reading the story. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy takes you through one small fairies journey as she discovers her place in the fairy world. It shows how she decided to become the tooth fairy and the steps she took to make every child smile.I really must say I love EVERYTHING about this set! The book is brightly illustrated and easy for children to understand, the Tooth Fairy Doll is well made and...well. ADORABLE! It also comes in a sturdy case which looks just like a book and can be easily stored on your book shelf until you and your family get a wiggly tooth ;o) and I am so happy to say we have a very wiggly tooth. Looks like the tooth fairy will soon be visiting our house to bring joy to one little boys face.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol
