I am reminded every day how much I have to be thankful for. This time of year I am reminded more and more. Every day I go to school and I am surrounded by what is probably one of the best groups of teachers around. They truly love and care for the children we have and it is like I have never seen. I am thankful for my students who even on my worse day can always bring a smile to my face. They have really just changed my life like I could have never pictured. I am thankful for my friends and family because without them I would be so alone. I am thankful for the paycheck I receive. So many people cannot afford to feed their family every night and I am blessed that I can! Most of all I am thankful almost all my Christmas shopping is DONE and tomorrow is FRIDAY!

As time goes on we realize in this house more and more that it is time to start doing our part to protect this planet. We all know how frustrating it can be after you get out of the shower when you go to the mirror and it is all fogged up. You wiped it down with your towel and try to hurry though whatever task it was you needed to do. Recently I was introduced to a new product by ToiletTree called the Fogless Shower Mirror .  We all know that vegetables should be a part of every meal. If you are like me though you get tired of the same old boring after boring vegetables. Recently I was given a chance to review a great new line of products from Green Giant, a name we all know and love. Green Giant Seasoned Steamers comes in 6 mouth watering varieties in everything from broccoli to Brussels sprouts. We decided to try the Backyard Grilled Potatoes because we are a heavy potato family. The process was easy I simply put the bag into the microwave and microwaved for the allotted amount of time. In just a couple of minutes we had a nice hot side dish ready to eat with our meal. While these products were very good I would say a bag serves 2 adults. Luckily my children do not eat much so it worked for our family. This week there is so much to be thankful for! Of course I have my normal news, a great job, wonderful healthy kids, a supportive family and amazing friends! But this week I have some news that EVERYONE should here. At 6 months of age our Vice Principal found out her son had cancer. I couldn't imagine as a parent the way her heart must have hurt. She gave up her position as Vice Principal to do what any mom would have BE THERE. 6 months of Chemo(8 rounds) and yesterday they got the call that brought them to their knees. Their precious little boy was cancer free! Of course he will under go monthly checks and be given more love then he can handle but the joy is just overwhelming today and I couldn't be more thankful to see her face this morning. If you pray please pray he continue to stay cancer free and happy! If any family deserves this miracle it is this family and I am so happy for them :O)

I don't think there is anyone who cannot remember the joy of losing that tooth and the magic of the tooth Fairy. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy Set is my new must have for anyone with small children.  Christmas is by far my favorite time of year. We put up our tree as soon as we have filled our bellies with turkey. Like many families our Holiday Season is filled with many traditions and as long as I can remember Hallmark has been a part of those traditions. Teeth, teeth, teeth......I really don't think I can even express enough how important a healthy mouth is. Recently I was given the chance to review a new product in dental hygiene. OraMD is a whole mouth product. I know that sounds silly because if you brush your teeth of course your mouth is getting cleaning :OP but stick with me and I'll explain. OraMD is a 4-step process that helps your mouth be as healthy as it can no JUST a tooth cleaner! Brush twice a day in the morning and evenin using 2-5 drops of OraMD on a toothbrush and brush normally. Floss every evening before brushing – more frequently as needed. If you have been following my blog 3 months ago I started an amazing weightloss challenge from Creative Bioscience . The last 6 weeks have been a struggle with sickness and work but I have maintained this challenge I am so glad I have. I have really seen a noticeable difference in not only the way I look, but the way I feel. This week I was thinking.lol I always have things to be thankful for but my husband was listening to a radio show and there was something to think about haha. According to the Mayan calender the world is going to end on December 21st of this year. Well if you are as old as me you have already survived several different people saying it is going to end. So anyways with all of these storms coming through lately and the tragedy it brings with it. Now imagine if we had no weathermen, tall buildings, grocery stores.......what if all these events happened?? In the day of the Mayans it would have certainly meant that the world's end was quickly coming.  Second thought of the week.lol Yeah I know you may think I am crazy by now but go with it! What if you were on a plane and you crashed somewhere that was basically taking you back in time. There is no power, no running water. How long do you think it would take to get to where we are today in society??

 In this house potatoes are served with nearly every dinner. I'm not sure if that is healthy but it sure is tasty! Recently I was given the chance to review a product that was new to me. Simply Potatoes is actually a brand that is much more then just simply potatoes.lol With 5 varieties of mashed potatoes, 9 varieties of cut potatoes, Macaroni and cheese and 3 brand new steam-able potatoes the options for dinner seem almost endless! Unfortunately for me the store was having an amazing sale when I went to pick my products so my options were a little limited, but we found two that my family would love. I made them both with a big Christmas style meal(hams were on sale :OP). First we have the Homestyle Creamy Macaroni and Cheese this was by far the favorite of the two products that we tried. I am not really much of a reader so I try to keep my book reviews to topics I truly enjoy. When I came across the opportunity to review this book I knew it was for me. Dog Trots Globe- To Paris & Provence by Sheron Long is the journey of an adorable Shetland Sheepdog to France. I have never talked about my childhood but growing up I had always had a sheltie, and my mother still has several. Growing up a military brat we also got to travel the globe. Of course as a child I never thought about the world through my dogs eyes, so every page of this book brought a smile to my face as I thought back to my beloved childhood friend and what he must have thought on all of our trips and moves. This book was really well written and you can almost feel like you understand what the dog must have had going on in his mind. The pictures are also very vivid and fun, they help to set the scene and of course show us the cute doggy the whole time. I couldn't find a picture of my childhood friend

We all have to do it whether we like it or not. Yep LAUNDRY , well you know the routine, treat, soak , wash and dry. Well recently I was given the chance to revie w a product from Purex called Purex Plus Oxi. With three enzyme s it can fight over 101 different stains and leave a fresh scent. It can even be used as a pre -treat er .  I really enjoyed using this new detergent it got my children 's socks back to the whi te color they were suppose to be.lol It also easily cleaned my husbands work jeans. Now I did this review as part of a blogger program through Purex Insiders and it did come with a contest. However after learning a local family had lost everything they had in a house fire last week I polled my readers and we decided those coupons were best served to that needy family.  It really is just that time in my life where I am thinking about getting old.lol In January I will turn 30 and as much as I love my mother, and hope this is the one post she doesn't read, I don't want to end up looking like her. So I have really got into being more and more healthy and taking better care of myself. If you are like me though you don't want healthy to mean HOURS in the gym. Frankly with 3 children I don't have the time to spend those hours in the gym, so when looking for something that I could fit in I found 20 Second Fit ness .  Now think about it, no one likes to work out right?!? Well anyone can do 20 second s of ANYTHING! Surprisingly I got my husband in on this work out routine which is great because well, he is already over 30.lol After a week of using it we are both seeing more energy ! Wow I never realize how bad I am at being girly till I get new products to review. Recently I was given the chance to review new Scunci Flower Bendini ha ir clips. We received some really cute off white flowers and my daughter was super eager to try them on. After many attempts I couldn't figure out how to get them to stay in her hair so I went to Scunci.com and figure out some directions. What a week, what a week! As the children in school spin out of control with their Halloween sugar highs I am digging deep for something to be thankful for.lol When I took this job I knew I wanted to work with children, I had never before dealt with children with disabilities. I have to say this job has changed my life! Only 9 weeks into school my path in life has taken a turn. Even on my worst days the children I work with bring me so much joy. So today I am thankful for the blessing in life that most people consider burdens :O) Being called mom all day long because you are a female and they cannot express their need for your attention any other way. I'm so thankful for the simple innocence that is the special needs child. Of course I am also thankful for a loving supportive husband and amazing children. I hope everything today is feeling as thankful as I am! Plus tomorrow is Friday!
