NatureBox

It seems these days there is a "box" membership for everything, and I won't lie I am in love with them. I know so many people in this country are like me and don't live near stores that offer many of these products. Recently I was given the chance to try out a new subscription box called NatureBox. Now as I get older I have tried to make some major changes in my life. Problem is the store around here carry really nothing healthy! Organic is pretty much out of the question as well. NatureBox is a way for me to get around that. For under $20 a month NatureBox provides 15-20 servings of healthy snack foods, and we all know snacking is my downfall.
All the things it doesn't have is all the things I love!
As you can see there is so many reasons to love these products. The prices are reasonable and it is delivered straight to my door. Which really makes the prices GOOD since I don't have to spend $20 driving to buy similar products.
Here is my August Box!
The August box included Bombay Curried Cashews, Dried Fancy Figs, Far East Rice Crackers, Mexicana Mangos, and Maui Onion Crunch. For more details on it you can go HERE. My daughters favorite is by far the mangos lol I had to stop her from eating them the first day! She loves taking a piece to school every day. She is also a really big fan of the Figs. I am a little bit of a chicken though so haven't tried those. MY favorite is the Onion crunch. The flavoring on the almonds is so yummy.
I know I have said many times how much I love companies who do for others and are not just worried about themselves. So listen closely because this is the post important part of this post! 14 million children in America go hungry, and I know what you are saying right now, yeah right that is to big of a number that couldn't be true! Well sadly it is true :O( I see it every day working in the schools. Some children their only meals of the day come from the school. Well NatureBox is helping to change that. For every box purchased they will donate a meal to a child in need! So if healthy snacks are your thing and you love people who loves others, there could be no better company to try out. Find them on Facebook and Twitter.
**I received the above mentioned products in order to write an honest review. My thoughts are and always will be that of my own and were in no way influenced.**

I really want to try this box, I love the items I am seeing that are coming in them
I just found out about this box last week and love the concept! It's nice that the snacks are individually packaged and it allows you to try so many kinds :)

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)
