Fantasicakes Review and Giveaway

I'm sure I have mentioned before that my favorite thing in life is anything with the word cake in it.lol So it goes without saying when I got the chance to review a product from a  company called Fantasicakes I just had to take it. After much consideration I decided to pick the Marble Coffee Cake to review.
Now I didn't chose it because I love coffee cake, which I do. I LOVE marble cake, actually if I had to pick a favorite cake, this would be it. When I got the cake it was the hottest day of the year around here so I waited to open it since I knew the plastic would be stuck to it and take part of my cake with it. The next evening I decided it had waited long enough! I cut myself two slices off and sat down with a nice cold glass of milk. This cake was Soooo good, with a dense texture like a pound cake, you could really taste both the chocolate and vanilla. Sounds good right?? That wasn't even the best part, there was little chunks of chocolate that had partially melted onto the top of my cake.
If you aren't hungry by now you may need to see a doctor ;o) because I certainly made myself hungry all over again. The cake only lasted two days in our house with 5 people and I am looking forward to ordering a new one. I think this would make a great birthday cake (insert hint to husband here). The best part about his review you might ask, besides me getting to eat the cake, the people at Fantasicakes have been wonderful enough to offer a 25% off code to all my readers. When you order you Fantasicakes HERE Enter the code giveaway 2012 at the checkout page.
Wait for it...........they have also sponsored a GIVEAWAY. One of my lucky readers will win an 8" cakes of their choice. Now unfortunately this review is only open to US residents but make sure to take a few minutes to enter on the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win. GOOD LUCK! a Rafflecopter giveaway

I would pick the chocolate Rum cake. Sounds yummy, or maybe the red velvet if I am feeling selfish. No one likes red velvet but me. LOL

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need: 2 Cups of Sugar 2 Cups of Water 1 Package Sugar Free Jello A candy Thermometer Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I li

The Children's Place Review and Giveaway

Recently I was lucky enough to be given a chance to review The Children's Place . With summer time in full force here in West Texas getting some new summer time clothing was not only a needed thing but a fun thing to do. We decided to try out The Children's Place online ordering. I had never done this before and with a packed schedule it was very handy! My daughter loved sitting don and being able to pick out an entire outfit for under $25. In fact she was not only able to get an out fit but to additional pairs of shorts! Not only was ordering fast and easy but we received our clothing in 2 days. Considering we hit a record high 103 degrees yesterday it came none to soon! Here is the adorable outfit that she picked out :O) she had to model it of course! Butterfly Shirt $6; Matching Shorts $6;Flip Flops to go with her out fit $3.50. The excitement of picking her outfit herself Priceless. She really had so much fun with this and she loves her new flips flops(because the

#Cozycatfurniture Growing up Kitty with Ginger

It has been so many years since we have had a kitten around the house I think I had forgotten just how active and amazing they are! I am sure many of you have seen me talk about Ginger our baby. She is FeLV positive, and just days short of her 7 month birthday. We also have 2 other boys with are getting up there in age. Thomas has always been a scratcher and I admit I had never thought about getting a kitty tree before this. Earlier in the month a great opportunity to review the Kitty Condo Tree from   Cozy Cat Furniture came about I thought oh great Ginger will have a place to nap, play, learn, and most importantly SCRATCH!      It Arrived in a box which I have to admit scared me a bit at first, it was much small then I thought.....was the tree smaller....was this one of those "some adult assembly required" items? Luckily it was easy to put together and came out so much sturdier then I had expected.  Even before we could give the word go Ginger was eager to play a
