Cook'n Recipe Organizer Review and Giveaway

Now I will admit I am NOT an organized person, not even close. Before this product I would have to turn to Google or Pinterest every time I was looking for my "favorite" recipe. With the Cook'n Recipe Organizer I have had so much fun going around and getting all my favorites into one place! You can enter your own recipes, or with the Capture option you can simply search your favorite recipe, click capture, and there it is at your finger tips to save into your cook book. You can use it to analyze the recipes for nutritional information, menu plan, and even set up a shopping list RIGHT THERE IN THE PROGRAM! If you are like me simply having it on the computer doesn't do a whole lot of good once you get to the store. You print it out, write it down and BAM you still forget it at home. Well with Cook'n Recipe Organizer you can link up with your smart phone and have it handy when you get to the store! It does SOOoo much it's hard to explain but they have assembled a great video to help.
I have really enjoyed having this around and boy has it been a BIG time saver for me! Not to mention a little bit of fun(its the simple things that keep me going). If you love to cook, or even just have to cook, this is for you. The wonderful people at Cook'n Recipe Organizer have been wonderful enough to offer up a copy to one of my wonderful readers so make sure to take the time and enter on the Rafflecopter form below. Also make sure to check out their Facebook page where they do weekly giveaways! Thank you so much for reading and GOOD LUCK!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need:
2 Cups of Sugar
2 Cups of Water
1 Package Sugar Free Jello
A candy Thermometer

Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I like to dust mine …

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Review and Giveaway

Recently I was given an amazing opportunity to review a new product by Rubbermaid called the Hidden Recycler. As a family who does a lot to help our planet in many ways this was an exciting opportunity. I loved the fact the Rubbermaid not only made a product that would help my family continue their recycling more easily but they reduced packaging to merely a cardboard sleeve that I could in turn recycle. I quickly opened the package like a kid at Christmas and discovered it would not fit my kitchen cabinets :O( we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and the layout of my old cabinets would not hold the brackets.  So as I sat down to gloat about not being able to use this amazing product, and I notice two holes on the lid and made a massive dash for the directions. Sure enough I can attach it with screws! (Which ironically took me forever to find in our construction materials) I found the perfect place for it in my laundry room and began putting all of Rubbermaid's claims to the …
