Tiny Tillia

Recently I was given the amazing opportunity to review a product I had never heard of. Tiny Tillia I quickly learned was by AVON a well known and trusted company in this family. We were given several things to put to the test. Calming Lavender Shampoo and Conditioner,Citrus Shampoo & Body wash, Dilly Pig Bath Mitt, an amazingly soft blanket, and "Geoffrey" the Giraffe Stuffed toy<--not his real name but I can't seem to find his real name and that is what my daughter calls him :O)
Neither one has left her side since they came in the mail :O)
Having a child with really curly hair it has always been a struggle to find a product that leaves her hair manageable. I think I have tried just about every commercially available product. While using the Calming Lavender Shampoo and Conditioner I think her hair has been softer and more manageable then ever! I'm really glad to have had this opportunity because her hair is typically a rats nest of knots! If your child has easily tangled hair I really recommend this product :O)

We have been using the Citrus product as a body wash :O) she loves that she can put it on her piggy bath mitt and use him to wash her body.lol Nothing is better then having fun while getting clean, no matter how old you are :O)
You can see these products and more at http://www.tinytillia.com/default.aspx and check out their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TinyTilliaByAVON

*I received these products free to be able to conduct a complete and honest review. Any and all vies stated are that of my own and were in no way influenced*

#Cozycatfurniture Growing up Kitty with Ginger

It has been so many years since we have had a kitten around the house I think I had forgotten just how active and amazing they are! I am sure many of you have seen me talk about Ginger our baby. She is FeLV positive, and just days short of her 7 month birthday. We also have 2 other boys with are getting up there in age. Thomas has always been a scratcher and I admit I had never thought about getting a kitty tree before this. Earlier in the month a great opportunity to review the Kitty Condo Tree from   Cozy Cat Furniture came about I thought oh great Ginger will have a place to nap, play, learn, and most importantly SCRATCH!      It Arrived in a box which I have to admit scared me a bit at first, it was much small then I thought.....was the tree smaller....was this one of those "some adult assembly required" items? Luckily it was easy to put together and came out so much sturdier then I had expected.  Even before we could give the word go Ginger was eager to play a

Jello Hard Candy

Most hard candies call for corn syrup, but since I was out and I have 3 children home I decided to experiment and make something fun! Here is what you need: 2 Cups of Sugar 2 Cups of Water 1 Package Sugar Free Jello A candy Thermometer Making candy is a pretty tricky process and trust me I messed up a batch or two getting this to work right.lol Put the sugar and water into the pot and turn on medium whisking well till the sugar is dissolved. Stirring pretty regularly to help the sugar from burning. As the sugar begin to boil turn the heat up to high. Watch your thermometer when the candy reaches 230 pour in the jello continuing to mix. Pour this mixture immediately into a cake pan that is lined with parchment paper of you can rub a little veggie oil in it. The candy will continue to cook as it melts anything over 230 you will be left with a burnt candy that tastes like licorice.lol After you candy is cooled completely turn it out onto a cookie sheet and break apart :O) I li

Killing Ants Safely

LOL okay I know the title seems a bit silly. Here is West Texas ants are a BIG problem. Not only do they bite, but well they are really annoying! They sneak into every crack in your house no matter how hard you try. With pets though you are very limited to the products you can safely use to kill ants. As time goes on more and more I am concerned about the products I keep in this house and the effect they have on not only me and my children, but my pets. When looking for ways to rid myself of these pests I found a simple, cheap, and effective means to do so. CORNMEAL! Yep it is very simple, for about $2 a bag I can treat weekly for an entire year! While it doesn't kill them all it has certainly brought down the population so that now it isn't even noticeable. All you do it sprinkle it on top of their mounds and watch the greedy little ants drag it all inside! When eaten it expands and POOF! ;O) You get the picture.
