Day 22 Crockpot Challenge BBQ Shredded Chicken

I love chicken for so many reason, it is fast, easy to cook, good for you and freezes so well. Cooking chicken in a crockpot makes it that much better This meal is really easy of course and requires only two ingredients, Chicken and your favorite BBQ sauce. Just place your chicken breast in a crockpot and top with a bottle of BBQ sauce. I like to let it cook on low all day so that when it is time to eat you can shred it easily apart with two forks :O) Tonight we are having BBQ sandwich's on my Sub Rolls. Don't forget your Veggies! Green beans go great with this meal.

I've been looking for a good recipe for this! I remember when my family would make it for get-togethers and my hubby has been wanting some. I'm trying this :)

30 Day Beach Body Challenge- Day 3 #30dayfitness

Here we are at day 3, now unfortunately I am to sick to work out today but I wanted to make sure that I shared the information with you on how to do these exercises so that everyone could easily get their's done. I will catch up as I can, may even try to add extra to the days once I feel better. For today it is 50 burpees and 50 kick down crunches. If you don't know how to do these make sure to scroll down for directions! You will also see why with the flu these aren't doable.lol HOW TO DO A BURPEE!

Homemade Fly Traps

We all love summer but as the weather gets warmer the flies get worse and worse. We have a bush out front of our house that I swear just attracts every fly in town! I wanted to get rid of them but I didn't want to kill all the wonderful butterflies it also attracts. So I went about finding a new way to kill them all. I had some empty Tazo tea bottles I simply poked a pen sized whole in the top, added 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of syrup. Now I do find that these work better if you place them in the sun :O) If you want to use a bigger container simply multiply the ingredients. Make sure your hole is only about the size of a pen cap! Then they can't seem to get back out.lol

Putting On Girl Scout Badges With A Flat Iron

I love helping all my little daisies earn badges, but as a mom I hate putting them on. Lol I saw an idea on Pinterest a while back to use a flat iron so I thought I'd give it a try.  It worked really well but I do have a couple suggestions. First make sure your badge  is exactly where you want them. Unlike an iron this causes the glue to melt very fast! Second count I 3-4 and it is probably done! Lastly you will likely have to apply pressure to the end pinching it tight. Overall it worked very well and I will probably keep putting badges on this way :)
